Cancellations & No Shows
To secure your appointment, a card must be saved on file. CálmaTe Mind & Body (CTMB) requires at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Failure to cancel within this time frame or missing your appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the service fee. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment to schedule future appointments.
We understand that emergencies and illnesses happen. In cases of verifiable emergencies, illnesses, or inclement weather, fees for last-minute cancellations may be waived at our discretion.
Appointment Times & Late Arrivals
Appointments are carefully scheduled to ensure the highest quality of care. Between sessions, time is reserved for discussing treatments, processing payments, cleaning and sanitizing, and providing breathing room for your practitioner.

New Clients: Please complete the intake form sent via email at least 24 hours before your appointment. It can also be accessed in your client portal.

Timeliness: Arrive on time to maximize your session. If you are running late, please text to inform us.

Late arrivals will not extend beyond the scheduled appointment time.

At the practitioner's discretion, partial sessions may be accommodated if scheduling allows.

If tardiness reduces massage time, the full session fee will still apply. If tardiness results in cancellation, 50% of the service fee will be charged.

Draping
Your comfort and privacy are a priority. During your massage, you will be draped with a sheet, blanket, or towel, with only the area being treated exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain covered and will not be massaged.
Massage Termination
Our practice provides professional massage and bodywork services for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Your comfort and safety is our priority. If you feel uncomfortable at any time and for any reason, please tell the practitioner that you want to end the session immediately. Likewise, practitioners will terminate sessions immediately for the following:

Inappropriate conduct, including harassment, threatening behavior, sexual advances, or disrespectful language.

Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The full fee will still apply if a session is terminated for any of these reasons. We strive to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all clients and practitioners.
Privacy
Prior to your first session, you will be required to complete an intake form, including a confidential health history section. Please submit an update any time there are significant changes to your health history, such as surgery, major illness, or new injuries. The information in your file can only be released with your written consent or as required by law.
Health & Safety

Clients must notify the practice and refrain from receiving massage services if advised against by a medical professional or if they have any of the following:

Open wounds, abrasions, sores, infections, or other maladies.

Are unable to maintain personal hygiene.

Conditions posing risks to their health and/or safety or the health and/or safety of others.

Clients are responsible for consulting their medical professional about their conditions and the impact on their health and safety.

CTMB reserves the right to deny entry or services due to health/safety concerns.

Public health requirements must be followed.
Gift Cards

Gift cards represent prepayment for services or products only and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law. Gift cards are non-refundable.

A physical or digital gift card must be presented at the time of redemption.

Lost or stolen gift cards may be replaced with proof of purchase for the remaining balance.

Gift cards are non-transferable and may only be used by the person they were issued to unless stated otherwise.

Discounts, promotions, or special offers cannot be applied to gift card purchases unless otherwise stated.

Gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.

We reserve the right to deactivate, cancel, or suspend any gift card if we suspect fraud or unlawful activity.

Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in service prices but is greatly appreciated for exceptional service. Tips can be added to credit or debit card payments or given in cash, at your discretion.
